Age / Weight

The Shotgun Pro EVO has 2 configurations with different weight limits and age recommendations:

Pro Harnessed Seat:

• Suitable for children weighing 9 - 15kg (recommended age 9 months - 2 years).
• Before using, ensure your child can support the weight of their own head. For kids under 1 year, consult a pediatrician.

Pro Seat:

• Suitable for children weighing 12 - 27kg (recommended age 2 - 5 years).
• Ensure your child can sit unaided, follow basic instructions, and stay awake for the duration of the bike ride.

Bike Fitment / Installation

• Fits almost all modern regular and electric mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8th steerer and 10mm clearance under the stem.
• Adaptors for bikes with integrated cables (e.g., Trek Knock Block) are available separately.
• Not recommended for bikes without front suspension (e.g., road bikes or beach cruisers) due to clearance issues with the child’s feet.
• Shotgun Pro handlebars fit 31.8 or 35mm handlebar diameters, and stems up to 60mm wide.

Safety Standards

• Meets EN 14344 and ASTM F3641 safety standards for front-mounted child bike seats.
• Undergoes independent quality inspections by TUV.
