Delivery and Returns

UK Delivery Times:

Normally, we aim to pack up and send out your orders on the same day (especially if you order before midday) and we send everything out by either Royal Mail, or by courier for our larger orders (eg. Handlebars, Mudguards, Framesets, Bikes). No parcels are shipped over the weekend. Delivery time is usually two or three working days from dispatch, but orders aren't sent by a Royal Mail guaranteed service.

In-Store Pick up is also available in the checkout, if you'd like to pop by and say hello!

Cost

Shipping cost is calculated by weight and size on checkout.

Free shipping is available on orders over £50.00. (Faster shipping options are also available at cost)

Bikes£100.00 (Fully built and assembled - 2 man delivery service. )

Regular sized Parts & Accessories are generally shipped by Royal Mail.

Larger items will go by courier.

Faster delivery: If you do need an order in a hurry, we can get you sorted with next day delivery or a guaranteed service. Please just get in contact sales@ghyllside.co.uk or better yet, give us a call on 015394 33592 and we will happily arrange this for you.

International Orders:

We ship worldwide, and you can shop in your local currency – just select your country from the dropdown menu. International and Channel Island prices are pre-VAT, and we ship Delivered At Place (also known as Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means that we only take responsibility for shipping the product, and it is up to the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees. Please be aware of this when ordering. You may need to consult your local customs regulations to see what the possible customs charges may be as they vary from country to country.

All international orders are sent by courier. Shipping costs vary by territory and currency, so the easiest way to find this out is to at something to your basket and enter your address at the checkout.

Packaging:

In an attempt to be as environmentally conscious as possible, all packaging we use in store is reused, from deliveries coming into the store. When this isn't possible we use biodegradable products and our packing tape is also fully recyclable. This does mean that occasionally small products will come in big boxes, bikes/ frames won't come in the manufacturer's branded packaging and periodically you may have to wait for us to receive more packing materials before we send out your product. We apologise in advance

Returns

If you have ordered a product and have found that it isn't right for you then we can offer exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase (unless a custom order, please see below). Please drop us an email to arrange. We can provide you with Royal Mail returns labels to guarantee affordable postage but the cost of return postage will be deducted from any refunds/charged to the customer.

International returns must be arranged by the customer.

All Returns must be returned to us unused and in their original packaging.

Custom Orders

Custom or special order items are products that we do not normally keep in stock and which are sourced, ordered, or manufactured specifically at your request. This includes, but is not limited to, items with customised specifications, finishes, components, or sizes that we would not otherwise hold as regular stock.

Please note that custom and special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they are faulty or not as described. This is because these products are obtained or made specifically for you and cannot be resold in the normal course of our business.

By placing a custom or special order, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your normal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply to such items (in accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b)).
