Cambium C13 – Cotton

Brooks have found themselves in entirely new territory with their C13 Cambium saddle. Brooks Cambium saddles are hand made in Italy from natural rubber and organic cotton. Once the rubber base is shaped by hand, the cotton covering is placed on top and the two are vulcanised together to form a seamless finish, delivering a firm yet supple saddle for comfort and flex. Instead of being influenced by one of their previous designs, the C13 is the next evolution in Brooks attempt to blend comfort with performance. Their most aggressively shaped saddle yet, the C13 is slender and sleek. The proven combination of Cambium and a narrow nose for movement freedom and comfort when pursuing an aggressive ride on the C15, is pushed even further on the lighter and narrower C13 132. However most of the key reduction in weight actually comes from another radical change with this design. The C13’s rails are made of continuous carbon fibre, for smooth, stiff and lightweight finish. This helps to eliminate road buzz and maintain Brooks key target of producing a comfortable saddle. A saddle that really rewards pushing the limits without punishing your backside, should be a winner in anyone’s books.
